Bow Tigers Cat Hotel (Bow Tigers) has been providing holiday services for cats since 1995. It now has over 300 clients and can house up to 32 cats at any one time.
Bow Tigers has been providing holiday services for cats since 1995. It is fully licensed by Richmond Council and regularly checked by its inspectors. It also has strong links with animal welfare agencies and vets in the local area. Bring your cat, an up to date vaccination certificate and a favourite blanket, we will provide everything else (beds, food, drinks, bowls, litter trays and litter).
Most importantly we appreciate the following essential points:
Each cat is different
- They all have their own personality and preferences
- Although we have looked after many of our “residents” on numerous occasions we understand that we are not with them that often. It therefore takes us time to get to know each other
- Cats like to be treated differently, have different feeding preferences and a number of our “residents” require administration of medicines and special care
- When your cat comes to visit us we ask you to fill in a form which tells us about your cat, it state of health, eating habits, preferences and anything else you want us to know. We also like to know how to get hold of you whilst you’re away should we need to contact you for advice about your cat should we need it
Security and safety
- Bow Tigers can only be approached through our home
- We have installed electronic gates at the front of our property
- There is an inner and outer door to the cattery itself
- Each pen door is locked individually so that your pets are fully secure when staying with us
Cleanliness
- All cats that stay with us have to be fully vaccinated against common diseases
- We insist on seeing up to date vaccination certificates before any cat is allowed to stay with us
- This ensures that we minimise the causes of disease at source and therefore reduce the chances of any infection
- We use recommended cleaners throughout the cattery
- We use alcohol rub to clean our hands between tending each cat which again reduces the risk of transferring germs from one cat to another
